Senior Materials Planner / Buyer

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT & CONTROLS Coordinate weekly and monthly physical counts with Production Manager and warehouse team. Update and maintain weekly and monthly inventory tracking spreadsheets for costs, COGS and inventory values. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records. Support cycle count programs and continuous improvement in inventory accuracy. Work with Finance to reconcile receiving discrepancies in QuickBooks. Qualifications 5+ years’ experience in Production Planning, Purchasing, or Materials Management in a manufacturing environment. Strong Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, inventory tracking, forecasting). Demonstrated experience owning MRP planning and purchasing decisions. Experience supporting multiple locations and influencing operational teams. Experience processing Purchase Orders and reconciling receipts. Working knowledge of inventory analysis and safety stock calculations. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Clear and professional communication skills. Experience with QuickBooks. Experience supporting ERP or WMS implementation. Experience coordinating LTL carriers and shipping documentation. Lean / continuous improvement exposure. Experience with Maquiladora structured companies in Mexico (preferred by not required). Bi-lingual, English/Spanish (required).
