We are a leading apparel manufacturing company specializing in custom T-shirts and sweatshirts. Our in-house capabilities include screen printing, embroidery, sublimation, sewing, packaging, barcoding,

bagging/tagging, and full private-label solutions. With 300+ employees in our Tijuana factory, we deliver high-volume production with consistent quality for US-based brands and corporate clients.


Position Summary

We are seeking a Purchase Manager responsible for overseeing and directing the company’s procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role involves developing purchasing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and leading negotiations to secure favorable terms.


Main responsibilities

  • Supplier sourcing and selection: Research and evaluate reliable suppliers.
  • Price and contract negotiation: Obtain the best prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions.
  • Purchase order management: Create, send, and track purchase orders.
  • Inventory control: Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstock.
  • Cost analysis: Compare options to optimize expenses.
  • Delivery follow-up: Ensure products arrive on time and meet requirements.
  • Supplier evaluation: Assess performance (quality, delivery time, pricing).


Administrative tasks

  • Record purchases in systems or software.
  • Prepare reports (expenses, savings, supplier performance).
  • Manage invoices and coordinate payments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies.


Internal coordination

  • Work with the warehouse team to receive goods.
  • Coordinate with finance for payments.
  • Support other departments with their material or service needs.

Experiencia y requisitos

With solid experience in managing end-to-end procurement operations, including supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, and inventory control. Proven track record of reducing costs, improving supplier performance, and ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services. Experienced in developing and implementing purchasing strategies aligned with organizational goals, while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Skilled in setting performance metrics (KPIs), and optimizing procurement processes to increase efficiency and compliance. Strong background in budget management, cost analysis, and market trend evaluation to support strategic decision-making.

Demonstrates excellent negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and logistics departments. Committed to achieving cost savings, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.


Typical Experience Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing,
  • Experience in supplier negotiation and contract management
  • Knowledge of inventory management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)

Work Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, full-time on-site at our Tijuana facility (La Mesa area).
