We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Planner to join our team.
This position plays a key role in coordinating production schedules, balancing customer demand with operational capacity, and ensuring on-time delivery performance within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and analyze customer demand requirements.
- Develop production plans aligned with plant capacity and material availability.
- Monitor and measure production plan attainment and schedule compliance.
- Coordinate operational priorities across multiple departments.
- Generate and maintain production schedules to meet customer shipping commitments.
- Analyze production specifications, manufacturing capacity, tooling, and labor requirements.
- Plan and schedule workflow for manufacturing operations based on established lead times.
- Collaborate closely with MPS, Operations, and cross-functional teams to support fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing activities.
- Follow up on project status with supervisors and support departments.
- Expedite delayed operations and adjust schedules to respond to changing business conditions.
Experiencia y requisitos
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in Planning and/or Production Control within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and operations planning processes.
- Experience in High Mix / Low Volume manufacturing environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive mindset with strong process orientation.
- APICS certification preferred.
- Experience with Epicor MRP is a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish (written and verbal communication).
